​Robber Robber, a high octane post-punk band from Burlington, Vermont and an emergent standout in the northeast indie/rock scene. 


The product of a long-standing creative partnership between lead singer/guitarist Nina Cates and drummer/multi-instrumentalist Zack James, and forming as a band in earnest in the spring of 2021, Robber Robber’s penchant for scrappy, dynamic compositions erupting into concussive hooks that punch above their weight class quickly began to win them a strong word-of-mouth buzz throughout the northeast. As a frontwoman, Cates’ acerbic lyricism and cool, reserved demeanor serve as a ballast to the band’s full-throttle musical tendencies and James’ propulsive, breakneck drumming. The result is some of the most thrilling and engaging rock music being made right now. Following their Caldera EP, released independently in 2021, the band is currently in the studio recording a full-length follow up and plans to tour heavily throughout 2023.
